Job summary

UF Health Central Florida is seeking a Nursing Assistant for its PRN Float Pool. You will help across different clinical areas, delivering direct patient support and basic care, guided by RNs and the Nursing Director. This role offers exposure to diverse teams and patient populations.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, BLS, and either 2 years of experience or a valid Florida CNA license. Post-high-school training is preferred. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Post-high-school specialized training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, OR valid CNA license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with nursing procedures.
• Support patient comfort measures and help with basic physical care.
• Work across multiple patient care areas based on staffing needs.
