Job summary

UF Health in Central Florida is seeking a Nursing Assistant Float Pool member to support patient care across units. The role involves providing basic nursing procedures, comfort measures, and maintaining a safe patient environment.

Under the direction of nursing leadership, you will rotate through units as needed for staffing. CNA with Florida certification and BLS are preferred; English fluency is required to communicate with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post-high school specialized training preferred.
• Florida CNA license preferred.
• BLS required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures.
• Assist with comfort measures and maintain a clean, safe and organized patient environment.
• Operate under supervision of Registered Nurses and Director/Manager.
