Responsibilities

• Collects patient data including vital signs and input/output as delegated.
• Documents objective data and routine aspects of patient care.
• Transports patient specimens as needed.
• Reports abnormalities or changes to a licensed professional.
• Communicates patient status clearly to other caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
• Assists with procedures and uses equipment under supervision.
• Provides supplies and assistance to medical staff and patients for unit procedures.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked environment.
• Greet and assist patients, visitors, physicians, and staff as needed.
