Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and BLS certification required.
• CNA in state of practice required for new hires and transfers.
• LNA in state of practice required for new hires and transfers.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required or preferred.
• Licensed EMT-Experienced (EMT-IV) required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes tasks to promote patient health, assist with hygiene, mobility and nutrition as needed.
• Collects patient data including vital signs and input/output as delegated.
• Documents objective data and routine aspects of patient care.
• Promotes continuity of care by communicating with other caregivers.
• Maintains a clean, stocked environment and supports department operations.
• Assists in transporting patient specimens and using equipment under supervision.
