Job summary

North End Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Boston, MA is seeking an RN or LPN for PRN evening coverage (7PM-11PM). The role delivers skilled nursing care, administers medications, and follows individualized care plans to support resident health and dignity.

This position offers daily pay, shift differentials up to $3, and competitive benefits including health, vision, dental, and a 401(k) plan. A current MA license and BLS CPR are required, with strong assessment and documentation skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per standards of nursing practice and care plans.

• Maintain accurate documentation per physician orders and facility policies.

Pay: $35-$48 an hour (all-inclusive)

Up to $3 Shift Diff

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Nurse (RN/LPN) is responsible for delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities for Nurse (RN/LPN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Nurse (RN/LPN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN/LPN in the state of Massachusetts.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
