Job summary

Medi-Weightloss is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team across five clinics in the Alexandria area. You will provide medical care, counseling, and education while maintaining thorough documentation in the EMR and adhering to collaborative prescribing guidelines.

The role is designed for flexibility with a minimum commitment of two days per month. This position requires a licensed Certified Nurse Practitioner and active DEA Certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nurse Practitioner with active credentials.
• DEA Certification is required.
• Willing to work at all five Medi-Weightloss clinics as a PRN team member.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive medical and psychosocial histories.
• Perform physical examinations per guidelines.
• Order/interpret labs and ECGs as needed.
• Provide preventive medicine and product education.
• Follow collaborative prescribing guidelines and document in EMR.
• Monitor patient progress and coordinate referrals.
