Job summary

Medi-Weightloss® is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our Virginia-based team. The NP will provide comprehensive care, conduct exams, order labs, counsel patients on weight-management programs, and document everything in the EMR.

Responsibilities include coordinating referrals, following collaborative practice guidelines, and mentoring clinical staff while supporting franchise operations and patient experience initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Virginia and able to work in a multi-site clinic setting.
• DEA Certification and NP licensure required; must practice under supervising physician collaboration.
• Experience in weight management or preventive care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review patient histories relevant to care.
• Perform focused physical examinations per guidelines.
• Order and interpret labs, ECGs, and other tests.
• Provide preventive counseling and education on programs and products.
• Document care in EMR and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up with patients.
• Adhere to collaborative practice agreements and supervision requirements.
• Mentor staff and support franchise clinical operations.
