Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PRN schedule to support patient care across shifts. You will perform imaging procedures, ensure camera acquisition quality, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate results with strong safety practices.

The role requires proficiency in Nuclear Medicine techniques, patient interaction, and a commitment to continuous learning and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess BLS and ARRT RT(N) or CNMT as applicable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and safety.
• Ability to work with radiologists and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• PRN shift days and weekends.
• Ensures equipment meets quality control requirements and performs patient examinations utilizing age-specific care techniques.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
• Performs a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures with camera acquisition and data processing.
• Maintains room readiness, stocks supplies, and documents work orders for malfunctioning equipment.
• Plans and manages data entry into Nuclear Medicine IS and order systems in a timely manner.
