Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a broad range of nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring image quality and patient safety. You will collaborate with radiologists and staff to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care across age groups.

Requires ARRT RT(N) certification, BLS, and ability to work with Cerner/Radworks/PACS. This PRN role offers benefits from day one and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human physiology.
• Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages.
• Basic clerical skills and documentation accuracy.
• Licensure requirements and certification prerequisites as listed.

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures with camera acquisition and processing.
• Ensures room readiness and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Documents all QC data and exam charges in system in a timely manner.
• Verifies patient/exam accuracy and follows up on any mismatches.
• Explains procedures to patients and administers radionuclides aseptically.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure quality care.
