Job summary

Chippenham Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to perform diagnostic and therapeutic NM procedures. You will order, prepare, calibrate, store and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and perform quality assurance on cameras and devices.

Qualifications include AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology education, ARRT-N or CNMT licensure, BLS, and ongoing CE. Preferred: 1 year in nuclear medicine.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT-N or CNMT licensed; continuing education as required for licensure.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 6 months of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Order, prepare, calibrate, store, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for procedures.
• Perform quality assurance on cameras and instruments.
• Operate radiation detection devices and ensure proper charges and physician orders.
• Perform computer processing and maintain departmental records.
• Assist in decontamination procedures and department maintenance.
• Greet patients and respond to phones; support physicians and staff.

AMA-approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology

ARRT-N or CNMT licensed

BLS Health Care Provider

ARRT/NMTCB certification within 6 months of hire
