Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Board eligible to practice Radiologic Technology.
• Certified by the state of Florida to practice and administer radiation; ARRT registration; current BLS.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce images for radiologist interpretation.
• Prepare and administer radioactive drugs.
• Capture and optimize images for diagnosis; ensure patient safety and identification.
• Maintain radiation safety and minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Send films to PACS and present to radiologist before dismissal.
• Document patient care accurately in records.
