Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Springfield, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN Nights to join our inpatient post‑ICU care team. You will receive admissions/transfers, perform comprehensive patient assessments, document meticulously, and respond to rapid code events with confidence.

We offer extensive orientation, a minimum of 4 shifts in a 6‑week period, and opportunities for advancement within a nationwide network of over 44,000 colleagues.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License
• BLS is required at hire
• ACLS is required at hire

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned
