Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience; behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment preferred.
• CPR certification and willingness to complete de-escalation and restraint training.
• First Aid certification as required by state or facility guidelines.
• Strong clinical judgment and meticulous documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ behavioral and physical health needs and provide trauma‑informed nursing care.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing treatment plans.
• Safely administer medications with accurate documentation and controlled substance tracking.
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to providers and care team.
• Educate patients and families and maintain compliant medical records.
