Job summary

University Health KC is seeking a Perinatal Services RN for Labor & Delivery at Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. This PRN/part-time role covers 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

You will care for mothers and newborns across triage, antepartum, labor, delivery and recovery, mentor new nurses, participate in quality improvement, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Missouri with BSN preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• AWHONN fetal monitoring course completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care across childbirth journey.
• Assess patient needs, plan care, and advocate for patients.
• Mentor new nurses and participate in ongoing education.
