Job summary

Texas Health Mansfield is seeking a PRN Nights Respiratory Therapist to join a dedicated team. Responsibilities include delivering respiratory therapies, ventilator management, and ARDS/ABG interpretation in a busy hospital setting.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses and therapists to optimize patient care and outcomes. The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, is BLS certified, and licensed as a Texas RCP with NBRC RRT.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Field of study: Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• 1+ year of critical care experience preferred; NICU experience highly preferred.
• BLS, Texas RCP license, and NBRC RRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Documents procedures accurately and completely.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team for patient flow and care.
• Provides respiratory therapies and ventilator management per policy.
• Interprets ABG/co-oximetry results and adjusts treatment plan with team.
• Responds to Code Blues with CPR per AHA guidelines.
