Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT MR or ARMRIT competency in MRI functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Performs exams per protocol and reviews images for quality.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits.
• Instructs students and other MRI techs in protocols and positioning.
• Provides patient education, comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operates equipment and related information systems for quality images.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and adverse reactions.
