Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Salt Lake City is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and produce diagnostic images for physicians. You will deliver patient-centered care, explain procedures, and ensure comfort while maintaining safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be able to perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Screen patient before exam and verify identity.
• Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures and position for scanning.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjust MRI scan parameters as needed.
• Follow physicians' orders, adhere to safety regulations, and record in RIS.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and sanitize equipment.
• Maintain MRI equipment and promote safety habits for patients and team.
• Meet accreditation requirements and maintain the ACR toolkit.
