Job summary

AdventHealth in Clermont, FL is seeking a PRN MRI technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations, ensure patient safety, and assist with contrast administration. You will educate patients, prepare the exam room, and maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.

The role requires knowledge of MRI procedures, strong communication, and flexibility to work day weekends. Training and safety protocols are emphasized as part of a faith-based community focused on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; ARRT MRI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Educates patients and family about MRI procedures and safety.
• Positions patients for accurate and comfortable imaging.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Performs daily QC checks per policy.
• Maintains documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Performs MRI exams per physician orders and protocol.
