Job summary

Jefferson Outpatient Imaging is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN role at our Bustleton, PA imaging center. The ideal candidate will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and contribute to a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities include documenting orders, verifying clinical history, and maintaining data integrity while providing patient education and participating in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
• ARRT in Radiography or ARMIT; MR advanced registry required upon hire for IDTF centers; state licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine to complex MRI procedures and evaluates image quality.
• Receives and documents orders in the patient’s medical record.
• Assists in maintaining safety standards and ALARA principles during imaging.
• Selects pulse sequences and reconstructs data for display.
• Provides patient education and preceptor duties as needed.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
