Qualifications

• Up to 5 years experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Must meet state licensure requirement for the state of practice.
• Must be registered by ARRT or ARMIT and maintain current valid registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures.
• Ensure services are performed safely and in accordance with guidelines.
• Provide education to patients and assist in maintaining supply inventory.

Skills

Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols

Skill in operation of MRI equipment

Ability to work independently and multitask

Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology

Knowledge of computer applications

Education

Associate’s degree in radiology or accredited two-year radiology program
