Job summary

Nebraska Health Imaging, LLC in Omaha is seeking an MRI Technologist for a PRN position to support our outpatient imaging center and uphold patient-centered care.

You will perform MRI procedures, maintain safety, verify orders, educate patients, and collaborate with radiologists and the imaging team to deliver high-quality images and timely results, all while adhering to ARRT standards and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associates Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
• ARRT registration in Radiography with current ARRT registration; MR advanced registration required upon hire.
• Must meet state licensure requirements for the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Receives, relays, and documents verbal, written, and electronic orders in the patient's medical record.
• Corroborates the patient's clinical history with physician's order and procedure.
• Assumes responsibility for patient needs during procedures.
• Identifies, prepares, and administers medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
