Job summary

OrthoNebraska is seeking an MRI Technologist to provide individualized patient care and obtain high-quality MRI images for radiologist interpretation. You will work in a team to ensure patient safety near the magnet and collect relevant medical histories.

Requirements include AMA approved radiologic technology education, ARRT MR certification, and BLS, with 1+ year MRI experience preferred. Familiarity with GE MRI systems is a plus. Hours vary, with 0 FTE/varied schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved radiologic technology program (required).
• ARRT MR certification (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• 1+ year MRI Technologist experience (preferred).
• Proficient with GE MRI equipment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Quality control of MRI images.
• Adjust to patient abilities to obtain required images.
• Screen patients for safety hazards before exams and obtain histories.
• Maintain stock and supplies for department.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment; ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
