Job summary

Akumin seeks a PRN MRI Technologist to perform cross-sectional MRI imaging and image analysis for diagnostic interpretation. You will administer contrast, document in the EMR, and maintain strict patient safety standards while following policy.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification as applicable, and flexibility to cover shifts as needed. As a per-diem position, you may work at multiple sites, respond to coverage requests promptly, and help ensure high-quality imaging consistent

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification as applicable by contract.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations and cover per-diem shifts.

Responsibilities

• Produce cross-sectional MR images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Perform MRI procedures and data acquisition under licensed supervision.
• Administer contrast and document in EMR per policy.
• Maintain patient safety, pre-screening, and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Train staff and MR technologist assistants as needed.
