Job summary

Akumin® is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist in Deltona, Florida. The role involves producing high-quality cross-sectional images for medical diagnoses and ensuring patient safety through pre-screening and procedure oversight. Technologists will also train new staff and must be able to work flexibly, covering shifts as needed.

Ideal candidates will possess an ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, have at least 3 years of experience, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT.
• Minimum 3 years technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic images for medical interpretation.
• Train and orient new technologists and assistants.
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
