Job summary

Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, Arkansas, is seeking a PRN Radiology MRI Technician to join our Radiology department.

This role performs MRI procedures with patient care and safety in mind, under Radiologist direction, and requires ARRT and MRI registrations within 1 year of hire; a Radiologic Technology degree is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor of Science preferred but not required.
• Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration within 1 year of hire.
• MRI registration within 1 year of hire.
• One year of experience with a Board-Certified Radiologist preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Current BLS certification; CME requirements must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and patient care with independent judgment.
• Adjust imaging parameters to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Work under Radiologist or staff physician supervision.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comfort.
