Job summary

Parkwood Behavioral Health System, a UHS facility in Desoto County, northwest Mississippi, near Memphis, is seeking a Mental Health Technician (PRN) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse. You will help maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and assist with daily living activities across varied populations including children, adolescents and adults.

• Ability to build therapeutic relationships with patients across ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist across units with varied populations including children, adolescents and adults.
• Respond to crises and support behavior management as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility for reassignment among units as required.
