Job summary

Parkridge East Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (PRN) to perform tests on blood, urine and other body fluids to aid in patient diagnosis and status evaluation. You will participate in performance improvement initiatives and support a team‑oriented environment within a high‑quality lab setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent ASCP‑eligible education and demonstrates commitment to quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and completion of an accredited MLT program OR equivalent education/experience qualifying for ASCP national registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on blood, urine and other body fluids for diagnosis and patient status evaluation.
• Participate in Performance Improvement and QA activities to ensure quality and patient safety.
• Support a collaborative, patient‑centered environment and adhere to hospital policies.
