Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will support a primary care physician, delivering patient care and managing front-desk and clinical duties to enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MA experience, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and prep exam areas.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, dress wounds.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Record data in medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate to patients.
• Engage patients through outreach to eligible groups.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
