Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in Indiana. The Medical Assistant works closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and exceptional guest experiences, serving as both a Medical Receptionist and clinical support.

This role supports patient rooming, vitals, injections, and coordination of care across the clinic, while handling front desk duties and documentation.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; certification/registration required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Mansioni

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Review medical information and gather updated health data for the provider.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as ordered.
• Coordinate with care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps in care.
• Manage front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Record data in medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate with patients via e-message, mail or phone.
• Participate in patient outreach to drive engagement.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
