Job summary

Mercy Orthopedics - Whiteside in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to support physicians and staff with clerical processing, patient prep, scheduling, and basic lab tasks.

You will perform patient care activities and maintain records, while upholding Mercy values and compassionate care. CPR certification within 3 months of hire date is required, with opportunities to grow within a caring team.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Must have computer experience and good communication skills.
• Certifications: CPR certification within 3 months of hire date.

Job description

Assists the physician and office staff with selected duties to include clerical processing, patient preparation, scheduling, lab, x-ray and medical records. As directed, performs patient care activities consistent with the established standards of nursing practice.
