Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our military service members in North Dakota. Work will be primarily on weekends, with occasional weekdays on an as-needed basis, at state locations. You will choose how often you participate in events.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and taking vitals and vision. Requires CMA/RMA or equivalent training, CPR/BLS, and weekend availability. Prior military or mobile clinic experience is a plus.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of North Dakota on an \"as needed basis\". You choose the frequency of how often you work our events.

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
