Job summary

DOCS Health in Minnesota is seeking Medical Assistants to support military service members on weekends and occasional weekdays on an as-needed basis.

The role centers on clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and vital signs, with CPR/BLS required and weekend availability a must. Prior military or mobile clinic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
• Weekend availability is a must.
• Military or mobile medical services experience preferred.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with computer programs.

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Minnesota on an "as needed basis".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities:

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.
• EKG.
• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
