Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Medical Assistants to provide health readiness services to military service members in North Dakota. The role focuses on phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and vital signs, primarily on weekends with occasional weekday events.

You’ll work with a mobile medical team or fixed-site clinics, depending on needs. The ideal candidate is a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with CPR/BLS certification and at least one year of experience, preferably with military or mobile

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training from accredited Medical Assisting program.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum one year of experience preferred.
• Experience with military or mobile medical services preferred.
• Proficient with computer programs.
• Must have weekend availability.

Attention all Medical Assistants, we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of North Dakota on an "as needed basis". You choose how frequently you work our events.

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred

• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
