Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, serving as both Medical Receptionist and clinical support.

You will perform vitals, injections, bandages, phlebotomy, and assist with procedures, while coordinating front desk tasks and chart documentation to support patient care and continuity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of MA experience, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program.
• MA certification or registration is preferred or required depending on state regulations.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures.
• Work with contracted labs for additional tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical record requests and referrals.
• Record data accurately in medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate results to patients.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
