Marathon Health in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a welcoming guest experience, performing both front-desk duties and clinical tasks as part of our integrated care model.

You will perform vitals, injections, venipuncture, and assist with procedures, while coordinating with labs and supporting patient education and care planning.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year of MA experience required.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Coordinate with labs for additional tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
