Job summary

Aspire Fertility Austin is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our OB/GYN fertility care team full-time. You will educate, prepare, and guide patients for their appointments, document care, and support the clinical and front-desk operations to ensure a smooth patient experience.

We offer comprehensive benefits, sign-on bonus, and a schedule Mon–Fri 6:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. with weekend/holiday rotation. Prior MA training with HIPAA knowledge is required; OB/GYN experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program required; Certified or Registered MA preferred.
• 2 years experience required; OB/GYN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with patient care.
• Prepare patients for exams or treatment including taking history, vitals, and phlebotomy.
• Document patient care in EMR accurately and timely.
• Organize, stock and clean rooms; sterilize instruments.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments; perform general admin tasks.

Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in a full-time role. The ideal candidate is passionate about women's health and fertility care, and is dedicated to supporting patients throughout every step of their journey. In this role, you will help educate, prepare, and guide patients for their appointments, ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and cared for.

Additionally, we’re looking for someone who is an excellent communicator and thrives on building meaningful, trusting relationships with patients. A warm, empathetic approach and the ability to provide reassurance in a sensitive and personal area of care are essential.

We are including a $1000 sign on bonus! Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with weekend and holiday rotation. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting physician with patient care
• Prepare patients for exams or treatment including taking patient history, vitals and phlebotomy
• Document patient care in the medical records system accurately and in a timely manner
• Organize, stock and clean rooms as well as sterilize instruments
• Answering phones/scheduling appointments as well as general administrative tasks

Skills & Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent, required
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required - Certified or Registered MA is preferred
• 2 years experience required, OB/GYN experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in keyboarding skills and experience with electronic medical records
• Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA requirement
• Rotating weekend coverage/cross-training to support clinical team
