Job summary

Messiah Lifeways is seeking PRN Med Techs to support the Enhanced Living residents in Mechanicsburg, PA. The role involves medication administration, personal care, and assisting with treatments as part of a compassionate team.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma and DHS Medication Administration Certification, with flexibility for weekend hours. Per diem position with weekend requirements and opportunities to grow within a CMS 5-star facility known for quality, safety, and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
18 years of age or older.
Successful completion of certification from the Department of Human Services Medication Administration Course.
Ability to provide appropriate documentation for Med Tech certification to include: Summary and qualification form, Review of non-oral medication documentation, Observation documentation (at least 6 months worth if coming from another community).

Responsibilities

Provide essential support to the Enhanced Living residents and assist with medication administration and treatments.
Encourage and support residents to be as independent as possible and assist with personal hygiene.
Transfer residents as needed and assist with treatments and therapies.
Serve as a role model for all Nursing Assistants and ensure residents take medications.
