Job summary

Messiah Lifeways is seeking a full-time Med Tech/Nursing Assistant for the Enhanced Living program. You will help provide essential support to residents, assist with medication administration, and follow Department of Human Services Personal Care Home regulations.

Ideal candidates are willing to rotate weekends and holidays, committed to compassionate care, contribute to a respectful team, and help residents stay as independent as possible while receiving safe, quality treatments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Certification from the Department of Human Services Medication Administration Course completed.
• Documentation for Med Tech certification must be provided.
• Preferred: 1 year of Nursing Assistant or PCA experience.
• Willing to rotate weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and treatments per regulations.
• Support residents with personal care and daily activities.
• Encourage independence and assist with transfers as needed.
• Document medications and care accurately for records.
• Model compassionate, team-focused care.
