Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center - Pine Ridge campus in Naples, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Surgical unit (Med/Surg) in a PRN Days shift. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, coordination with the care team, medication administration, and education for patients and families.

Typically requires 0–2 years of acute care nursing experience with an active RN license in Florida and Basic Life Support certification. ACLS/PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current RN license in the applicable state (Florida).BSN preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor for adverse effects, document administration.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards; educate patients and families.
