Job summary

Akumin is hiring a Mammography Technologist for the Tampa area and surrounding facilities. This PRN, part-time role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammography with 2D/3D equipment, collecting patient history, and supporting radiologists with clinical information.

The position requires ARRT (M), a state-approved mammography program, CPR, and the ability to work across multiple center locations. Strong customer service and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Mammography Program (State approved) required.
• ARRT (M) certification required.
• State license if applicable.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammogram exams on patients.
• Obtains patient history and prior films/reports.
• Performs Quality Control (QC) per FDA/ACR.
• Provides imaging support to other modalities (x-ray, bone density).
• Works with mammogram letters (results/reminders).
