Humboldt Park Health in Chicago, IL, is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist (Mammography) to support the imaging department with a focus on quality and efficiency. The role involves coordinating daily mammography workflows, maintaining standards, and collaborating across hospital teams.

The candidate will work 11:00–19:00 with every other weekend and holiday requirements. Licensure and CPR certification are required to ensure compliant patient care and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Licensed by IEMA in Radiology
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology
• Mammography Registry or Registry Eligibility
• CPR Certification

Responsabilités

• Plans and coordinates daily mammography workflow with Radiology leadership.
• Supervises day-to-day mammography operations and quality standards.
• Monitors patient wait times and imaging availability; communicates with teams.
• Ensures accurate posting of charges and documentation in radiology records.
• Verifies mammography follow-up needs meet MQSA/ACR standards; prepares inspection docs.
• Participates in volume/quality reporting and regulatory documentation.
• Supports management with quality/process improvements in mammography services.
• Performs/assists in quality control checks on equipment and documents maintenance.
• Acts as liaison between Imaging Department and other hospital departments.
• Maintains cost-efficient inventory and appropriate stock levels.
• Assists radiologists to coordinate patient exams for efficient workflow.
