Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled professional for a full-time Mammography position in Hinsdale, Illinois. Candidates will enjoy a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 and must possess effective communication skills, knowledge of Mammography procedures, and the ability to meet regulatory standards.

The role involves patient tracking, documentation using EMR systems, and ensuring high-image quality diagnostic examinations. A High School diploma is required along with relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Mammography or related field is required.
• Knowledge of Mammography equipment and MQSA and ACR regulations is important.
• Basic Life Support - CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient tracking and follow-up processes.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Performs high-quality examinations ensuring optimal image quality.

Skills

Job Description

Up to a $10,000 Sign on Bonus Available

• Participates in patient tracking and follow-up processes, assisting with recalls, additional imaging coordination, and biopsy scheduling as required by departmental workflows.
• Supports breast center initiatives, such as accreditation preparation, community screening events, or quality improvement activities.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Performs high-quality examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
