Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking an LVN Charge Nurse for Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Duval in Austin, TX. The RN/LVN will support quality resident care, perform medication administration, and collaborate with physicians to ensure timely assessments and plan of care.

This PRN/part-time role requires Texas LVN licensure, completion of an LVN program, and preferred experience in skilled nursing facilities.

Qualifications

• Has completed an LVN program at an accredited vocational school or college.
• Must be an active Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, document, and report resident condition changes during rounds.
• Ensure implementation of care plans as directed and administer medications as prescribed.
• Conduct rounds with physician and record visits in clinical records.
• Perform narcotic reconciliation with incoming and outgoing shifts.
• Identify significant changes in resident condition and take action per policy.
• Oversee and monitor aides and complete incident/accident reports.
• Discharge residents per facility policy and communicate status changes.
