Wellpath is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN shifts in Maryland. The role supports nursing care under RN supervision, including medication administration, nursing assessments, and collaboration with the care team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
• Maintain current LPN/LVN licensure in state of employment and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social dimensions in care units.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic tests per protocols; support IV therapy if certified.
• Assist in procedures, document nursing encounters, and communicate with staff and physicians.
• Support in mandatory training and adherence to policies for high‑quality patient care.
• Participate in team meetings and ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
