Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Legacy Pointe in Omaha, NE is seeking a No Fill Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and contribute to care plans for residents. This PRN position requires a minimum of one shift per week and offers a supportive team environment.

You will assess residents, document care, collaborate with nurses and therapists, and uphold infection control and safety protocols while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• LPN license required (NE or multi-state).
• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• CPR/BLS certification required; other state-specific certs may apply.
• Ability to lift/move patients and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and administer medications.
• Monitor vital signs and document patient progress.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families and the health team.
• Ensure infection control and safety procedures are followed.
• Offer emotional support to residents and families.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians and therapists.
