Job summary

Discovery Senior Living in Boca Raton is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN role at The Veranda Club. You will provide hands-on nursing care in accordance with each resident’s care plan, ensuring safety, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, care coordination with physicians and families, and documentation. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required to support a high-quality, person-centered community.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license (or RN per state regulations) and full eligibility to work in Florida.
• Minimum of two years' licensed nursing experience in assisted living, long-term care, or skilled nursing.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents per established care plans and policies.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; document appropriately.
• Coordinate resident care with physicians, families, pharmacies, and other providers.
• Support health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness initiatives.
• Ensure compliant clinical documentation and care planning as needed.
