Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking an LPN to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting at GSS SD Desmet Ctr. This PRN position requires graduation from an accredited LPN program and an active LPN license, with potential IV therapy responsibilities in North Dakota.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess residents, document outcomes, and support care plans while delivering compassionate, faith-aligned service in a not-for-profit Christian environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Active LPN license required.
• IV therapy knowledge may be required in North Dakota per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medications, behavior, activity, and dietary.
• Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocate on prevention and treatment plans.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
