Job summary

Cedarhurst of Nicholasville is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and focuses on delivering high-quality resident care, medication administration, assessments, and documentation.

You will lead care staff, promote safety, and communicate with families, physicians, and the leadership team. The ideal candidate is a licensed LPN with a compassion for seniors, strong teamwork, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing.
• 1+ years nursing experience preferred, new grads welcome.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate resident care per physician orders and care plans.
• Administer and document medications with the five rights.
• Provide resident assessments and participate in care planning.
• Educate residents and families as prescribed.
• Support safety and fall prevention measures.
• Document observations and changes in resident condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living and scheduling medical appointments.
