Job summary

My Access Medical Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support physicians and patients in a fast-paced clinic environment. The LPN will assist with patient visits, document care in the EMR, and maintain a safe, welcoming space for all individuals served.

The ideal candidate has an active LPN license, current BLS, and strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal medical orders accurately.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and obtain medical history under provider guidance.
• Administer medications and vaccines safely per clinic policies.
• Perform point-of-care testing and enter lab orders in the EMR.
• Document patient care thoroughly and timely, including changes in condition and medications administered.
• Educate patients and families, uphold HIPAA, and maintain patient confidentiality.
