The role emphasizes safety, accurate record-keeping, and patient education. Requirements include an active LPN license in the state, current BLS, and strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unrestricted LPN license in the state.
• Current BLS certification must remain active.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical equipment.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy, vaccinations, and basic procedures.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Support patient visits by monitoring vital signs and obtaining medical history.
• Assist with minor procedures and enter orders for labs and diagnostics in the EMR.
• Administer medications and vaccines per clinic policies.
• Document patient care thoroughly and timely, including changes in condition.
• Use EMR systems for clinical and administrative tasks including charges and records.
• Educate patients and families with health information and wellness guidance.
• Maintain HIPAA standards and patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
